Michael Kussmann was constantly told he had a 'voice for radio.' In 2017, he decided to turn that voice into a career, diving headfirst into the competitive world of professional voice acting.

Upon graduating from Laurentian University with a degree in media communications, Mike trained VO performance with the likes of Brad Hyland, Kim Handysides, Dave Walsh, Thom Pinto and others.  He also received an audio production accreditation from Mike Russell's Music Radio Creative.

Today, having completed over 3000 paid voice overs between Commercial, Narration, E-Learning, Explainer, IVR, Radio Imaging and Trailer/Promo, Mike is a full-time, accomplished voice actor.  From a relaxed, conversational millennial tone to a commanding deep announcer voice, Mike can adapt to any project.  Global brands like Mazda, Formula One, Verizon, and T-Mobile, have trusted Mike to deliver compelling voiceovers that engage their audience.  He can also be heard on over 50 Radio stations as the branding or 'Imaging' Voice.  Lastly, because of his world-class audio production skills, Mike has mixed and masters thousands of commercials.  This evolved into many fellow voice actors asking Mike to produce their voice over demos. ​

Outside the booth, Mike is a family man and a sports fanatic.  He still plays hockey, golf and loves anything outdoors.
